Hastings Zidana is a Fisheries Researcher at Malawi National Aquacuture Centre (NAC).
EDUCATION INFORMATION: Qualified with a Diploma in Agriculture from University of Malawi. A Bachelor of Science (BSc
in Agriculture) from the same University of Malawi. A Master of Science (MSc. Aquaculture), from National Taiwan Ocean University.
A PhD in Molecular genetics, National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan and also a PhD in Biological Sciences, researching on Population
genetics of Lake Malawi Cichilds, using molecular technology at The University of Hull, UK. I am well placed to comment and
direct on the fisheries related issues, policy and management of Lake Malawi biodiversity.
